Brailsford & Ednaston Parish Council “Bring a Bauble”

This year we are planning to erect our Village Christmas Trees on Sunday 28th November on The Park, The Plain, Brailsford and Hollington Lane, Ednaston between 14.00 – 15.30.

We are planning a series of events through the Christmas Season across several locations including Brailsford Primary School, Brailsford Pre-School, The Rose & Crown Brailsford, The Yew Tree Inn & Brailsford Stores & Post Office and look forward to your support & participation.

Week Commencing Monday 8th November – Friday 26th November.

  • All pupils attending Brailsford Primary School & Pre-school are being invited to decorate a new 70mm clear plastic bauble (supplied) in the design of their own choice for display on the trees co-ordinated through school.
  • Donations of your excess / surplus baubles / decorations can be dropped off at Brailsford Stores & PO along with raffle prizes for the 28th November.

Sunday 28th November.

  • 14.00-15.30 The Park, Brailsford & Hollington Lane, Ednaston the Christmas Tree Decorated (if you would like to help please just turn up on the day).
  • 16.00 onwards Rose & Crown, Main Road, Brailsford / Yew Tree Inn, Ednaston informal celebration including:-
  1. Complimentary Mulled Wine/Mince Pies/Children's Soft Drinks
  2. Best Christmas Jumper Competition
  3. Raffle Prizes/Tombola/Sweets
  4. Carols or Karaoke & possibly even a visit from Santa?

Week Commencing Monday 13th December.

Following on from last year's amazing external house decorations we wanted to build on and reward these exceptional efforts. Therefore we will be conducting anonymous village walkabouts and awarding 3 x prizes in each village donated by The Rose & Crown / Yew Tree Inn for the best decorated houses.
